No matter how disciplined you are, there will always be moments when endeavors seem too hard to keep making forward progress on. In these moments, getting the right external fuel can be the sole difference between success and failure.
My external fuel of choice is music. Unlike fuels like caffeine, sugar or other chemical uppers, music is cheap, travel-proof and doesn’t have any side effects. Need a dose? Sure you could go with the classics (Eye of the Tiger, U2, Eminem) but why not try something new?
The eight songs in the YouTube playlist above are what I consider to be the top 8 uncelebrated songs for inspiring action. I have used each of them many times to keep me going when I have felt tired, exhasused or otherwise unmotivated.
Top 8 Under-celebrated Inspirational Songs
- 300 Violin Orchestra – Jorge Quintero
- Smash The Funk – Griz
- The Time To Run (Finale) – Dexter Britain
- Goin’ Down South – R.L. Burnside
- La Rock 01 – Vitalic
- You and I – Medina
- Unlucky – George Barnett
- Under the Sea – Digby Jones
- Another Day On the Terrace – Sunlounger
